Public Classes are ONE DAY Classes held on Saturday

All Public Classes will be held at the 
Henderson Area Chamber of Commerce (201 N. Main in Henderson)

   Scheduled 2010 Class dates are:
July 17
August 14
*September 11 (Private CWC Class)
September 18
October 16
November 20
*This class is reserved for Lake Cherokee Water Company employees, board members and share holders.
Employees and Board Members MUST register at the CWC Main Office or by mail.  Shareholders may register online, at the CWC main office or by mail.

 Saturday classroom times are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

If you are renewing your existing Concealed Handgun License, you may attend a regularly scheduled public class from 1:00 pm - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

    In light of our complex and changing society, more and more citizens of Texas feel the need to be able to protect themselves, their loved ones and their property from the criminals whose numbers increase every day.
 It is our goal to make the process of obtaining a Concealed Handgun License as simple and educational as possible. We will provide the following items: Your student application and packet from Austin, State required Classroom Training, Documentation, License Photos, Shooting Range Qualifications and Testing.
REQUIRED FINGERPRINTING PROCESS MUST BE SCHEDULED AT A
FAST (FINGERPRINT APPLICANT SERVICES OF TEXAS) LOCATION.

Basic Ballistics Fees

New Applicant - $125.00
Renewal - $75.00
Handgun Rental - $35.00
(Handgun Rental fee includes one box (50 rounds) of ammuntion)

NOTE:  Basic Ballistics Fees do not include the fee assessed by the State to Process your License.  The State assessed fee can vary from free - $140.00 to be submitted with your application packet to the State.

    This is an important first step in developing your proficiency and becoming knowledgeable as to the laws concerning Concealed Carry. Some people feel that obtaining a concealed handgun license will place them at a higher standard as a citizen. We all are expected to follow the same laws regardless of whether you are a license holder or not. Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law. Know the law and be prepared to protect yourself or loved ones if you become involved in a criminal encounter.

    Our main goal is that you will feel proud to share us with your family and friends.
